BEVERLY'S CLIENTS & PROJECTS
Beverly has voiced digital learning projects, explanatory and instructional videos, on-hold messages, PSAs, radio spots, and video narration, as well as live announcements and introductions (Voice of God) on-site at AGMs and town halls. Her clients (corporate, government, non-profit and charity, private, and small business) in fields such as education, finance, health care, real estate, technology and more, include AIG Insurance, BMO, Cartterra, The City of Waterloo, Conestoga College, Epilepsy Ontario, Invidiata, Jean Tweed Centre, Klick Health, Mennonite Church of Eastern Canada, Microsoft, North York General Hospital, Ontario Public Health, Royal Conservatory of Music, RRFB Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan Teachers Federation, Sun Life Financial, TD, Toys R Us, UNICEF, and Community Natural Foods in Calgary, for which she read a year long campaign of weekly radio spots on SHINE FM. She is proud to be the Narrator for the Royal Conservatory of Music's comprehensive online music history course. Based in Toronto, Beverly can travel to studios in the GTA, or record from home.

EXPERIENCE
In addition to having hosted her own shows on both CHRY 105.5 FM (at York University) and CIUT 89.5 FM (the University of Toronto radio station), Beverly's also done dozens of station i.d.s, PSAs and commercials for U of T Radio, and is often referred to as "The Voice of CIUT." She's an active jazz singer in the Toronto area, and has also appeared on television and in independent films as an actress, panelist and special guest. TRAINING
Beverly has a B.A. in theatre from York University, has trained with well-known vocalists in Toronto (including John Alcorn and Bonnie Brett), and was a participant in the jazz vocal workshop in Banff, Alberta under the direction of NY singers Jay Clayton and legendary bebopper Sheila Jordan. In her youth she studied Speech Arts with Elfrida Wilde at the Royal Conservatory of Music for several years and later completed three improv workshops at Second City with actor/writer/comedian Bruce Hunter.
ADDITIONAL LANGUAGES & SKILLS
Beverly is accustomed to taking direction and doing cold readings, and is a competent mimic who speaks French, Spanish, Japanese and some German and Portuguese. She can read music, and as a professional singer, she is well-suited to work that requires singing or musicality. Her performance experience has sharpened her comedic timing and she is also able to ad lib as needed.
