The Love Hangover is an annual evening of duets on the theme of love and heartache, started 20 years ago in Raleigh, North Carolina, and now held in NYC, Chicago, Kansas City, and Providence, R.I. This is our fifth anniversary of the LH in Toronto, and net proceeds will go to support Recollectiv, a weekly musical group for people living with memory challenges such as dementia, Alzheimers and brain injuries. This year’s line-up includes Recollectiv founder, jazz ‘n’ laughs gal Ilana Waldston, and a mix of jazz, folk, rock, country and blues singers and players. As usual the pairings and repertoire will be surprising and fresh and fun – and it’s all for a great cause.
