We will perform some Hiltz/Taft originals, some favourites from our 20s and 30s repertoire, some standards and more. If you’ve not yet been to Musideum, know that it is a unique and intimate listening venue that allows the music and the performers to stretch and soar. “As ripples and vibrations pass through water, music passes through the air and the soul with musical instruments being the means. Musideum is a place where music is always shared with all that are willing to receive.” Performers and audience members are all captivated by this sacred musical space, which holds a maximum of 50 people. It is very much like a living room concert, with a stunning grand piano and superb acoustics. Do reserve ahead! FYI, also on the bill that evening: at 7:30, Lina Allemano; and at 9:30, Ugly Beauties Trio. Wonderful music-makers.

I so look forward to a return to the swellegant Jazz Bistro (formerly The Senator) for their Sunday cabaret series. Adrean and Neil are two of my favourite musical partners, and we’ll spend some time mining jazz standards of the past, as well as Brazilian bossa nova (of course!) and some swingy originals. It helps to book ahead. The food is very good, and dinner reservations guarantee seating. Really looking forward to seeing you there!
