Great to be back at the Barrie Jazz and Blues Festival with Tania Gill by my side. Tania is a wonderful musician who has played many styles with me over the years, including hot swing from the 20s and 30s, Brazilian bossa nova, and music by the great Frank Loesser. We'll perform all this and more, including some originals, sweet ballads and some summertime songs. Come for the music and stay for dinner! Tara Indian Cuisine has been serving their tasty home-cooked Indian comfort food for almost 20 years, and it is one of the best places to eat in beautiful Barrie. See you there!

This is our fifth anniversary of the LH in Toronto, and proceeds will go to support Recollectiv, a weekly musical group for people living with memory challenges such as dementia, Alzheimers and brain injuries. This year's line-up features Recollectiv founder, jazz 'n' laughs gal Ilana Waldston, and a mix of jazz, folk, rock, country and blues singers and players. As usual the pairings and repertoire will be surprising and fresh and fun - and it's all for a great cause.
